The Schools' Drinking Water Campaign is a new project aimed at encouraging children to drink more tap water and fewer bottled soft drinks. The intention is to make children aware of the environmental damage and negative health consequences related to bottled drinks. The link below will open two downloadable lesson plans, and a homework assignment aimed at year Four students.
The campaign has been developed through the collaboration of three bodies:
START is a charitable initiative set up by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2010 with a mission to inspire people to live more sustainably.
The Drinking Fountain Association has been working to provide free drinking water for over 150 years. It is now focussing on providing drinking fountains for UK schools and wells in developing countries.
Ohyo Ltd is founder of www.findafountain.org and UK manufacturer of the Ohyo reusable & collapsable water bottle.
